Thunderpick Withdrawal Problems? Not Paying Out, Blocked Accounts and Refund Options
Licence status, what the record shows and the routes open to players anywhere, with sources. A listing is a record, not an allegation of wrongdoing.

If you have lost money to Thunderpick, or a Thunderpick withdrawal is pending with no answer, this page sets out who you are dealing with and what your options are. Thunderpick (thunderpick.io) is operated by Paloma Media B.V., Curacao company 146988, under Curacao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/677/0722, shown as Active on the certificate the site links to; the Anjouan Gaming register separately lists Napier Ltd for the same domains. It is a crypto casino and esports sportsbook, so balances can be large, and players who have lost a lot of money tend to meet the same clauses. Below: the withdrawal, verification and confiscation terms, the public record, what players report, and the recovery routes for players anywhere.

Operating; the site cites Curacao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/677/0722 held by Paloma Media B.V. (CGA certificate Active, granted 4 June 2025; the CGA register of 27 August 2026 lists the same licence as Assessment in progress, issued 4 December 2025, expiry 4 June 2026), while the Anjouan Gaming register separately lists Napier Ltd, ALSI-202501018-FI1, valid 18 January 2025 to 17 January 2027, for thunderpick.io and thunderpick.com
Our free licence checker covers this and every other operator we hold a file on.
Who operates Thunderpick
Thunderpick.io states in its footer and at the close of its terms that it is owned and operated by Paloma Media B.V., a company incorporated in Curacao with company number 146988 at Kaya Richard J.Beaujon Z/N, and licensed by the Curacao Gaming Authority under licence number OGL/2024/677/0722. The footer carries a CGA Verified Certificate Seal linking to the regulator's certificate page, which on 3 September 2026 described the licence as granted on 04/06/2025 with a current status of Active. The CGA's own published register, in its 27 August 2026 edition, lists the same licence and licensee with the status 'Assessment in progress', an issue date of 4 December 2025 and an expiry date of 4 June 2026. Both are the regulator's outputs, they differ, and this page states both rather than choosing between them. The terms also close by naming the 'Curacao Gaming Control Board', the regulator's former name, while the footer uses the current one.
A second regulator lists the same domains. The Anjouan Gaming public register, searched on 3 September 2026 for Thunderpick, thunderpick.io and Napier Ltd, returns one row: Napier Ltd, licence ALSI-202501018-FI1, type b2c, status Valid, issued 18 January 2025, expiring 17 January 2027, for thunderpick.io and thunderpick.com. Third-party review sites quote an earlier footer naming Napier Ltd at an Anjouan address, but that wording was not on the live site as read. No Anjouan seal, Napier Ltd reference or ALSI number appears anywhere on the homepage or terms, and thunderpick.com simply redirects to thunderpick.io. So as of 3 September 2026 Thunderpick is verified on two registers at once, the Curacao certificate held by Paloma Media B.V. and the Anjouan listing held by Napier Ltd, and only the Curacao licence is shown to players. That choice decides where a complaint goes: with no Anjouan seal on the site, the Anjouan route has no entry point, and clause 19 of the terms publishes the operator's own route instead, support then its Dispute Resolution Office then a Curacao Gaming Authority accredited ADR provider. The next section sets that route out. AskGamblers records the brand as established in 2017; the operator's own pages do not state a launch date.
The complaint route the operator publishes
Because the site shows no Anjouan seal, the Anjouan complaint route has no entry point on Thunderpick. Anjouan Gaming's third-party complaint policy requires complaints to go first to the operator 'using the complaint submission function accessible via the operator's interactive site seal', with 30 calendar days for account disputes and escalation to an approved ADR provider after that; the Authority itself 'does not handle, mediate, or adjudicate player complaints'. Without the seal that first step cannot be taken on the site, and the terms do not mention Anjouan at all.
What Thunderpick publishes instead is clause 19 of its terms. Step one is support at service@cs.thunderpick.io, with escalation in writing to a customer service supervisor. Step two is its Dispute Resolution Office at disputeresolution@cs.thunderpick.io, which promises acknowledgement in 'approximately 24-48 hours' and a final resolution in 'approximately 7-10 business days'. The published time window reads, as printed, 'no less than 7 days and more than six months after the date on which the subject of the complaint first arose', so put the date the problem began in the first line of any complaint. Step three is 'Advanced Dispute Resolution' through a Curacao Gaming Authority accredited ADR provider, whose decision the terms describe as binding, alongside a regulatory complaint to the CGA, which the terms say does not mediate individual disputes. Clause 10.3 adds that the terms are governed by the laws of Curacao, that disputes are finally resolved by arbitration under the rules of an ADR institution 'to be selected by Thunderpick', and that class actions are waived.
Withdrawal delayed or refused
Thunderpick's terms say a withdrawal request 'may take up to 24 hours' to process (clause 6.1), with a minimum of EUR 10 and a cap of EUR 100,000 per week (clause 6.12), roughly £86,000 / $110,000. A payout above EUR 400,000 (about £344,000 / $440,000) can be split into monthly instalments at the operator's option, and cash out must go back to the original deposit method (clause 6.14). The clause that most often turns a 24-hour payout into a withdrawal pending for weeks is 6.13: documents can be demanded 'prior to granting any withdrawals' and 'at any time', and if a verification request is not met within 30 days the operator reserves the right to close the account, void winnings and apply a 'contractual penalty' equal to the whole balance. Clause 6.16 lets it withhold withdrawals on suspicion alone. Complaints published on AskGamblers describe withdrawals delayed by repeated KYC requests and left pending without a response, and reviews published on Trustpilot describe verification stuck for months with documents repeatedly rejected, alongside other reviews on the same page praising fast crypto payouts.
Account blocked or frozen
An account suspended or closed at the moment of a cash-out is the second most common report. Clause 15.5 states the operator may 'suspend, disable or terminate your Account at any time in our sole discretion'. The one-account rule is strict: clause 5.1 permits only one account per household, and clause 24 lists 'Immediate account suspension or closure without notice' among the consequences of multi-accounting, with detection that may include 'blockchain analysis of cryptocurrency transactions'. A shared address, a shared device or a relative's account can therefore trigger a block. Clause 21.2 adds that a player who cannot or will not supply identity documents may have the account terminated and the remaining balance voided, and clause 3.2 revokes access for any account reached from a restricted state. Reviews published on Trustpilot describe sudden closures with funds withheld and only a generic 'Terms of Service violation' given as the reason, and tighter restrictions after a bonus was activated. If your Thunderpick account is suspended, ask in writing which clause was applied and keep every reply: the operator's own complaint route in clause 19 starts from that written record.
Winnings voided or confiscated
Thunderpick's terms contain several routes to confiscated winnings. Clause 6.17 states that for unlawful, dishonest or 'improper activity' all balances, 'including both deposits and any winnings', are forfeited. Clause 6.7 allows funds to be frozen until their source and origin are adequately proved, and clause 6.19 provides for enhanced due diligence on funds not used for wagering, so a source of funds request can arrive after a win as well as before a payout. Clause 3.2 says a balance in an account accessed from a restricted state 'may be considered void'; clause 13.5 forfeits everything where a bug or error was exploited; bonus clauses 22.6 and 22.12 let the operator withhold winnings and remaining balances where it finds abuse. Clause 5.3 zeroes the balance of an account with no deposit, withdrawal or bet for 12 months, after a warning email at month 11. Complaints published on AskGamblers describe funds confiscated after an account closure and KYC allegedly delayed after large wins; complaints published on Casino Guru describe a balance confiscated after a withdrawal request despite completed verification, with closure given 'without a clear reason'.
Site not responding or gone dark
Thunderpick has not gone dark: thunderpick.io was live on 3 September 2026, thunderpick.com redirects to it, and the CGA certificate it links to showed Active. What players describe instead is support going quiet once a withdrawal is contested. Reviews published on Trustpilot describe unresponsive support, AskGamblers records an average operator response time of three days across ten complaints with nine unresolved, and Casino Guru states it could not assist in one case because of the operator's lack of response in similar past cases. The terms set the timetable you can hold the operator to: clause 19 promises acknowledgement in 'approximately 24-48 hours' and a final resolution in 'approximately 7-10 business days' from its Dispute Resolution Office, and clause 6.18 gives you only 14 days to report an error in a funds transfer. One point about location: from a connection in the United Kingdom every page carried the banner 'Thunderpick is currently not available in your country', so if you cannot reach the site at all, record the date, the message and where you were before assuming the operator has closed.
What the record shows
On 13 December 2023 the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) announced that it had requested Australian internet service providers to block further offshore gambling websites after investigations found 11 services operating in breach of the Interactive Gambling Act 2001; Thunderpick is named among the 11.
SourceACMA's publications list records a formal warning issued in December 2023 to the operator of Thunderpick (the page title reads 'Paloma Media N.V.', the linked document title 'Paloma Media B.V.'). ACMA's October to December 2023 action report describes the warning as being for providing a prohibited and unlicensed regulated interactive gambling service (Thunderpick) and lists thunderpick.io among the blocked sites. The warning document itself could not be opened, so nothing is taken from its text.
Sourcethunderpick.io remains on ACMA's published list of blocked gambling websites; the list page states it was last updated on 20 July 2026 and was read on 3 September 2026.
SourceIs Thunderpick legit?
"Legit" is really three separate questions. Thunderpick holds licence OGL/2024/677/0722 and is recorded as licensed under Curacao Gaming Authority (CGA). 3 documented items sit on the Thunderpick file above, every one carrying its issuing body and source. No UK Gambling Commission licence is recorded for it, meaning neither GamStop nor the UK dispute framework reaches it, and that gap matters more than any review score when something goes wrong. No licence anywhere is a promise of fair treatment. Our free licence checker matches any Curaçao licence number against the CGA's own register.
Complaints about Thunderpick
Complaints published on Trustpilot, where Thunderpick held a TrustScore of 2.8 out of 5 from 420 reviews on 3 September 2026 (51% five-star and 40% one-star), describe verification delays lasting months with documents repeatedly rejected, sudden account closures with funds withheld and only a generic 'Terms of Service violation' given as the reason, tighter restrictions after a bonus was activated, heightened scrutiny after wins, and support that stopped replying. The positive reviews on the same page praise fast crypto withdrawals, and the split between five-star and one-star reviews is itself the picture: payouts that work until something triggers a check.
Complaints published on AskGamblers, where ten complaints were recorded with one resolved and nine unresolved and an average operator response time of three days, describe withdrawals delayed by repeated KYC requests, verification rejected or allegedly slowed after large wins, withdrawals pending with no reply, deposits not credited and funds confiscated after an account closure. Complaints published on Casino Guru describe an account closed and its balance confiscated after a withdrawal request despite completed verification, closure 'without a clear reason' with deposits and winnings retained, and Casino Guru recording that it could not assist because of the operator's lack of response in similar past cases; it rates the brand's Safety Index at 2.9 out of 10 and lists 12 unresolved complaints. All of these are attributed player reports, not findings against the operator, and the operator's verification duties under its licence are real. What the pattern shows is where the friction sits: at cash-out, after a win, and around documents.
A complaint about Thunderpick should go to Thunderpick itself first, in writing, through the complaints channel it publishes or its support address where it publishes none, with every reply kept. If Thunderpick does not resolve it, escalation points at Curacao Gaming Authority (CGA), and in practice the pressure comes from the evidence your own records support. The sequence is set out in how to escalate a casino complaint.
What the licence requires
Thunderpick is regulated by Curacao Gaming Authority (CGA) under licence OGL/2024/677/0722, and no UK Gambling Commission licence is recorded for it, so GamStop and the UK dispute-resolution framework do not apply. Read more on how Curaçao casino law works.
Since the National Ordinance on Games of Chance (the LOK) came into force on 24 December 2024, Curaçao licences are issued directly by the Curaçao Gaming Authority, which requires licensees to verify player identity, operate responsible-gaming measures and publish a complaints procedure. What it lacks is the UK layer: no GamStop participation, no Gambling Commission oversight and no UK dispute-resolution requirement. That gap changes where the pressure points are; it does not remove them.
The Curaçao Gaming Authority accepts player complaints against its licensees. Quote the licence number on file, and run the operator's own published complaints procedure first.
If you are trying to recover money
Because Thunderpick is licensed in Curaçao and not by the UK Gambling Commission, no UK adjudicator can order a refund, so recovery runs as a claim built on Thunderpick's own complaints process and contractual terms, taken forward with a regulated legal partner where the evidence supports it. Preserve your account evidence first, then see how gambling-loss recovery works, the evidence you need to recover losses, and how to escalate a casino complaint.
Before you write, look Thunderpick up on the Curaçao enforcement register: a recorded action against the licensee changes what the complaint should say.
Two guides carry the detail for a Curaçao brand like Thunderpick. Getting your money back from a Curaçao casino sets out the complaint order and what the regulator can realistically do about Thunderpick. If the amount is large
A five or six figure balance at Thunderpick meets three clauses at once. The weekly cap in clause 6.12 is EUR 100,000 (about £86,000 / $110,000), so a larger balance leaves in tranches, and anything above EUR 400,000 (about £344,000 / $440,000) can be paid in monthly instalments at the operator's option. Clause 6.13 then allows a full document set before any of it is released: passport or identity card, utility bills, card copies, a selfie and a verification call, and clause 6.7 allows the funds to be frozen until their source is proved. A Curacao licence under the 2024 National Ordinance requires the operator to verify identity and run anti-money-laundering checks, so a source of funds request on a large withdrawal is within what the licence expects; a request that is never closed, or a 'contractual penalty' equal to the whole balance under clause 5.1 for a missed 30-day deadline, is where the dispute lies. Nothing in the terms creates a VIP tier with different rules, so a VIP host who stops replying is a support failure rather than a contractual one, and the silence itself is worth keeping on record. Crypto deposits are traceable, which helps you as much as it helps the operator's clause 24 analysis. Every clause above turns on written evidence, so save the account statement, each document request and its date before pressing. The routing section below sets out where a complaint goes under a Curacao licence.
Where you are playing from
Wherever you are playing from, a dispute with Thunderpick runs through the Thunderpick Curaçao licence and seat. Under Article 5.3 of the LOK, the National Ordinance on Games of Chance, you can complain to Thunderpick free of charge within six months of the incident; Thunderpick must acknowledge within a week and rule within four weeks, extendable once by four weeks. If that fails, the LOK requires a licensee to offer alternative dispute resolution at its own expense, and the Curaçao Gaming Authority requires that provider to be one it has certified, on a timetable it expects to run no longer than 90 days from the referral. A licensee that has not engaged a certified provider has fallen short of that requirement rather than been released from it. The Authority does not mediate the Thunderpick dispute or order compensation, but a complaint to complaints@cga.cw feeds its supervision of the Thunderpick licence. Beyond that, Article 5.5 requires a licensee to provide a clause submitting the gaming agreement to Curaçao law and any dispute to the Curaçao courts, and Article 15.3 makes a player’s claim against a licensee such as Thunderpick enforceable there.
If you are in the United States
The United States is named in clause 3.2 as a prohibited jurisdiction, and the terms say a balance in an account accessed from a restricted state 'may be considered void'. A player who deposited from the United States should expect the operator to raise that clause first; the Curacao route above still applies.
If you are in the EU
The Netherlands and the other parts of the Kingdom of the Netherlands are the only European territories named in clause 3.2. No action by an EU regulator naming Thunderpick, Paloma Media B.V. or Napier Ltd was located on 3 September 2026, so the Curacao route applies without a domestic addition.
If you are in Canada or Australia
Australia: on 13 December 2023 the ACMA requested that Australian internet providers block thunderpick.io and recorded a formal warning to Paloma Media, and the domain remains on the ACMA blocked list (page updated 20 July 2026). Canada is not named in clause 3.2 and no Canadian action was located. The Curacao route is unchanged in both countries.
If you are in the UK
The UK is not named in clause 3.2, but on 3 September 2026 every page showed 'Thunderpick is currently not available in your country' to a connection from the United Kingdom, and the operator cites no UK Gambling Commission licence, so GamStop and UK ADR do not reach it. The Curacao route applies.

Common questions about Thunderpick
Can I get my money back from Thunderpick?
Possibly. Thunderpick is licensed in Curaçao, outside the UK system, so no UK adjudicator can order a refund. Recovery instead works through the operator's own complaints process, the evidence your payment history supports, and where appropriate a regulated legal partner. The right route depends on your evidence, and our initial assessment is free and confidential.
Who operates Thunderpick, and is it licensed?
Thunderpick is operated by Paloma Media B.V., licensed in Curaçao, under licence OGL/2024/677/0722. It is recorded as licensed under Curacao Gaming Authority (CGA). This licence sits outside GamStop, so a GamStop self-exclusion does not block accounts held under it.
Does Thunderpick accept UK players?
Thunderpick's position on UK players is not clear-cut. Clause 3.2 of the terms names Curacao, the Netherlands and the other parts of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the USA, UN-sanctioned countries and FATF-blacklisted countries as prohibited jurisdictions and does not name the UK; on 3 September 2026 every page nevertheless showed the banner 'Thunderpick is currently not available in your country' to a connection from the United Kingdom. The site's footer cites only the Curacao licence, so it holds no UK Gambling Commission licence and sits outside GamStop. Whichever applies, the licence in force when you played is what shapes the routes open to you.
Is there anything documented on file about Thunderpick?
Our research records 3 regulator or court actions for Thunderpick, each with its issuing body and a source you can check. A listing is a record, not proof of wrongdoing, and every case turns on its own evidence.
What should I do if Thunderpick will not pay out or has frozen my account?
Preserve the evidence first: screenshot your balance, the stuck withdrawal, chat transcripts and emails, and save the terms as they read today. Then make one formal written complaint and escalate to the right authority or a regulated legal partner. Avoid closing the account or accepting a partial settlement before you have taken advice.
Will Thunderpick know I contacted Clinton & Co?
No. Nothing is sent to any operator without your written consent. The first an operator hears of your case is a formal complaint you have approved.
How long does a Thunderpick withdrawal take?
Clause 6.1 of the terms says a withdrawal request 'may take up to 24 hours' to process, and withdrawals must return to the original deposit method (clause 6.14). That clock stops if verification is requested: clause 6.13 allows documents to be demanded before any withdrawal and gives you 30 days to supply them. Complaints published on AskGamblers and Trustpilot describe verification running for weeks or months, so the practical answer is 24 hours if no check is triggered and open-ended if one is.
Does Thunderpick require KYC?
Yes, at the operator's discretion and at any time. Clauses 5.1 and 6.13 list passport or identity card, utility bills, card copies, a selfie and a verification call as documents it may demand 'at any time during the lifetime of your relationship with us' and before a withdrawal. Clause 21.2 says an account may be terminated and the balance voided if documents are not supplied. Missing the 30-day deadline in clause 6.13 can mean closure, loss of winnings and a penalty equal to the balance.
Why is my Thunderpick account suspended?
The terms give the operator wide grounds. Clause 15.5 allows suspension or termination 'at any time in our sole discretion'; clause 24 suspends accounts without notice for multi-accounting, judged per household or IP address; clause 3.2 revokes access from a restricted state; clause 6.16 withholds withdrawals on suspicion of improper activity. Reviews published on Trustpilot describe closures explained only as a 'Terms of Service violation'. Ask in writing which clause was applied and on what evidence.
What is the Thunderpick withdrawal limit and minimum?
Clause 6.12 sets the minimum withdrawal at EUR 10 (about £9 / $11) and the maximum at EUR 100,000 per week (about £86,000 / $110,000). Where a player wins more than EUR 400,000 (about £344,000 / $440,000), the operator reserves the right to pay in monthly instalments. Clause 6.1 also charges a closing fee of EUR 20 (about £17 / $22) where an account is closed with a balance at or below that amount.
Can I have more than one Thunderpick account?
No. Clause 5.1 permits one account per person and one per household, and clause 2 defines an account by 'one domestic household address or IP address'. Clause 24 lists closure without notice, forfeiture of winnings, bonuses or balances obtained through unauthorised accounts, and seizure of funds among the consequences, and says detection may use blockchain analysis of crypto transactions. A relative's account at the same address can be treated as yours.
Is Thunderpick legit?
The honest answer is the licence position. Thunderpick's site cites Curacao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/677/0722 held by Paloma Media B.V., Active on the CGA certificate and 'Assessment in progress' on the 27 August 2026 register; the Anjouan register separately lists Napier Ltd for the same domains. It holds no UK Gambling Commission licence. Its public record is an Australian ACMA blocking request and formal warning from December 2023, and the domain remains on the ACMA blocked list.
