Who operates Duelbits

Duelbits runs two operating companies on two domains, and which one a player contracts with depends on where they are. duelbits.com states in clause 1 of its terms that it is owned and operated by Liquid Entertainment N.V., a company registered in Curacao with company number 153298, licensed and regulated by the Curacao Gaming Authority under licence OGL/2024/1507/0838. The site footer and the Organization structured data name the same company at Zuikertuintjeweg z/n (Zuikertuin Tower), Willemstad, while the terms give the registered office as Pos Cabai Office Park 5; both addresses are recorded here and neither is treated as correct. The footer also names Herpestidae Services Limited, Cyprus company HE 410029 of Nicosia, described as a wholly owned subsidiary providing management, payment and support services, so management, payment and support run through the Cyprus company while the licence sits with the Curacao one.

The CGA certificate portal confirms the pairing and lists three approved domains: duelbits.com, duelbits.net and sportsbits.com. duelbits.io is not among them. That domain is operated by Elevated Entertainment Ltd, an Anjouan company registered as 16101 at Hamchako, Mutsamudu, and the Anjouan register carries one row for it: licence ALSI-112310013-FI5, status Valid, issued 13 October 2023 and expiring 12 October 2026. It matters because the .com site redirects visitors from blocked regions to the .io site, whose own terms put governing law and exclusive jurisdiction in Anjouan and cap liability at the amount paid through the service or 100 USD (about £77). The only place the two companies are linked in public documents is the .io governing law clause, which names Liquid Entertainment N.V.

Three sets of facts sit side by side and are not reconciled here. First, the CGA Certificate of Operation for duelbits.com says the licence was granted on 01/11/2024 and its current status is Active, while row 459 of the CGA online register of 3 September 2026 records the same licence as issued 24 June 2025, expired 24 December 2025, with the status Assessment in progress. Second, the terms cite CGA licence OGL/2024/1507/0838, the AML page and the Refund Policy cite the older Curacao master licence GLH-OCCHKTW076092020, and the site's own structured data says it operates under a Curacao licence numbered 365/JAZ. Third, a GB-facing domain, duelbits.co.uk, was once declared to the UK Gambling Commission by TGP Europe Limited, a white label licensee whose GB licences were surrendered on 15 May 2025; that domain did not resolve on 4 September 2026 and no current Great Britain licence covers any Duelbits domain. casino.guru, AskGamblers and LCB all date the brand to 2020.

What the terms allow Duelbits to do

The duelbits.com terms carry a printed revision date of 2 September 2025 and set out the operator's discretion at each stage of a payout. Clause 6.1 allows it to request government identification, proof of residence, proof of ownership of the payment method or crypto wallet, and source of wealth or source of funds documentation from high volume players, at any time. Clause 6.2 says enhanced verification is generally performed once cumulative withdrawal or deposit activity reaches XCG 4,000, about EUR 2,000 or roughly £1,700 or $2,200, while reserving the right to start those procedures at any time and at any threshold the company considers necessary, with timing and frequency at its sole discretion. Clause 5.3 requires ten per cent of a deposit to be wagered before a withdrawal can be initiated, and the AML and KYC page allows a balance to be frozen until that requirement is met and states that the operator cannot be held responsible for withdrawal delays caused by KYC checks. Clause 7.3 makes processing times indicative only and disclaims liability for delays.

Several clauses allow winnings to be voided or confiscated. Clause 3.3 treats VPN or proxy use to bypass the prohibited jurisdictions list as a material breach and reserves the right to freeze accounts and confiscate winnings from that access. Clause 4.1 blocks duplicate accounts and voids their credits and winnings. Clause 8.3 allows winnings to be voided for minimal risk wagering or bonus arbitrage, clause 9.2 voids everything arising from a malfunction or human error with liability limited to the stake, and clause 13.4 makes professional play, syndicate betting or the use of automated tools grounds for closure and forfeiture of the balance. Clause 10.2 classes an account dormant after twelve months and states that the classification and the resulting forfeiture do not depend on the player receiving notice. The Promotion and Bonus Terms allow bonus winnings and the deposit to be confiscated where accounts are connected by location, banking pattern or IP, and say the operator's decision is final.

Two further clauses shape any recovery route. Clause 11.2, expressed as following Article 5.1 of the CGA Policy Guidelines, limits liability on a wager dispute to the return of the stake, on an account dispute to deposits minus withdrawals at the time of the incident, and otherwise to the total deposited in the preceding six months. Clause 13.2 requires a claim to be filed within one year of arising, clause 13.1 waives class actions, and clause 12.3 puts governing law and exclusive jurisdiction in Curacao. Nothing in the published terms forbids a player assigning or transferring a claim to a third party. Clause 12.2 points escalation to a Player Complaints Policy Guidelines procedure and then to the CGA, but no such complaints document sits in the operator's published set, which runs to the terms, promotion terms, privacy, refund, AML, security, responsible gambling, referral and affiliate documents and a peer to peer policy.

Withdrawal delayed or refused

Where a Duelbits withdrawal sits pending for days, clause 7.3 of the duelbits.com terms is the clause in point: it makes processing timeframes 'indicative only', allows delays for security reviews, compliance checks or blockchain congestion, and disclaims liability for losses caused by those delays. Before a cash out can be initiated, clause 5.3 requires ten per cent of the deposit to be wagered, and the AML and KYC page allows funds to be frozen until that is met and disclaims responsibility for delays caused by KYC checks. Clause 6.2 puts enhanced verification at cumulative activity of about XCG 4,000 (EUR 2,000, roughly £1,700 or $2,200), then reserves the right to open it at any threshold. No daily, weekly or monthly payout cap is published in the terms and casino.guru records the limits as unlimited. Complaints published on AskGamblers describe a $11,203 (about £8,600) withdrawal left in processing after automated KYC failed, and complaint titles published on casino.guru describe delays disputed at $4,391 (about £3,400) and at 15,000 USDT (about £11,600 / $15,000). Record the request date, the amount and every document you upload, and ask in writing which check the payout is held for.

Account blocked or frozen

Duelbits can close an account under several clauses. Clause 4.1 permits one account per player: where duplicates are opened, all accounts may be blocked or closed and the credits and winnings in the duplicates will be void. Clause 3.3 treats VPN or proxy use to reach the site from a prohibited jurisdiction as a material breach and reserves the right to freeze accounts and confiscate winnings from that access, and the United Kingdom, the United States and Australia all sit on the clause 3.2 list. Clause 13.4 makes professional play, syndicate betting or the use of bots grounds for closure and forfeiture of the balance. Complaints published on AskGamblers describe an account suspended and then permanently closed after a KYC request, with about $18,000 (about £13,900) zeroed and roughly $15,000 (about £11,600) of the player's own deposits said not to have been returned, and verification stuck for five days with $934 (about £720) held. Complaints published on Trustpilot describe a ban within days of a large win with the whole balance retained and only flagged activity given as the reason, and separately describe VIP and lossback promises said not to have been honoured. Ask in writing which clause was applied, and request your transaction history and the balance at closure.

Winnings voided or confiscated

Confiscated winnings at Duelbits are governed by the discretion clauses in the terms. Clause 8.3 reserves the right to void winnings for what it calls minimal risk wagering or bonus arbitrage. Clause 9.2 voids all wagers and winnings arising from a malfunction, software bug or human error, with liability limited to the return of the stake. The Promotion and Bonus Terms allow bonus winnings and the deposit to be confiscated where accounts are connected by location, banking pattern or IP, and state that the operator's decision is final. Clause 10.2 classes an account dormant after twelve months and says the forfeiture that follows does not depend on the player receiving notice, and the responsible gambling page forfeits wagers, reward funds and promotion entries placed during a self-exclusion. Complaint titles published on casino.guru describe winnings confiscated at a disputed EUR 305 (about £260 / $330), winnings not received at a disputed EUR 30,113 (about £25,900 / $32,500) and an account closed at 1,360 USDT (about £1,050 / $1,360), while complaints published on Trustpilot describe an offerwall reward refused on the stated ground of VPN use. A complaint turns on the wording of the confiscation notice and the clause it cites, so where the decision followed a source of funds request, ask for both in writing.

Site not responding or gone dark

Duelbits has not closed. duelbits.com is live and is one of three approved domains on the CGA certificate, with duelbits.net and sportsbits.com. Opened from a blocked location it shows a notice that products and services are not available in that region and redirects to duelbits.io, a different company under a different licence, so a player can end up mid dispute on a site the Curacao licence does not cover. What players report instead is silence. Clause 12.1 names support@duelbits.com as the first step and clause 12.2 points to a Player Complaints Policy Guidelines procedure before escalation to the CGA, yet no such complaints document sits in the operator's published set, and the archive of terms versions promised by clause 2.3 was not located on the site. Complaints published on Trustpilot describe a leaderboard prize left unpaid after an account was disabled, with support and email contact stopping, and long waits for rakeback under the VIP scheme; Trustpilot also records that the operator replies to 84 per cent of negative reviews. A cash out that goes unanswered is not the same as a site that has closed, and clause 13.2 bars any claim filed more than one year after it arose, so silence runs against a deadline.

Spelinspektionen, the Swedish Gambling Authority, prohibited Liquid Entertainment N.V. from providing gambling in Sweden without the necessary licence, with immediate effect, in decision 25Si1471 of 20 August 2025. The supervisory case concerned duelbits.com: Sweden was preselected as the country and Swedish appeared at registration from a Swedish IP address, the site was marketed to Swedish consumers through affiliate sites, content creators, the Kick streaming platform and Google search advertising, and nothing showed that Swedish consumers were prevented from registering. The decision records the site as owned and operated by Liquid Entertainment N.V., 153298, and cites the Swedish Gambling Act (spellagen 2018:1138).

Is Duelbits legit?

The honest answer to "is it legit" has parts. Duelbits holds licence OGL/2024/1507/0838 and is recorded as licensed under Curacao Gaming Authority (CGA). The record above holds 1 documented item for Duelbits, sourced and attributed. With no UK Gambling Commission licence recorded for it, GamStop does not cover it and no UK adjudicator can hear a dispute about it, which counts for more than any star rating once money is stuck. Complaints about Duelbits

Two sets of published figures sit on the same brand. casino.guru gives Duelbits a Safety Index of 8.2, described as High, rates the terms Fair with no issues found, records user feedback as Great across 20 user reviews and lists no blacklist entry; its withdrawal limits are shown as unlimited with no win limit. The same page records 72 complaints in total, of which 1 was open, 2 unresolved, 22 resolved and 47 rejected, with 3,510 black points, and the complaint titles published there describe an account closed, winnings confiscated at a disputed EUR 305 (about £260 / $330), a withdrawal significantly delayed at a disputed $4,391 (about £3,400), winnings not received at a disputed EUR 30,113 (about £25,900 / $32,500), a withdrawal delayed for internal review at 15,000 USDT (about £11,600 / $15,000), compensation sought after a closure at $550 (about £425), an account closed with no explanation given at 1,360 USDT (about £1,050 / $1,360), and further delayed withdrawals at $449 (about £350), 100 USDT (about £77 / $100) and EUR 21 (about £18 / $23). Trustpilot shows a TrustScore of 3.0 out of 5 from 340 reviews, 51 per cent five star against 36 per cent one star, with the operator replying to 84 per cent of negative reviews and sometimes disputing the account given.

Complaints published on Trustpilot for duelbits.com describe an account banned within days of a large win with the whole balance, including the player's own deposits, retained and only flagged activity given as the reason and no route of appeal offered; a leaderboard prize said to be unpaid after the account was disabled, with support and email contact stopping; VIP and lossback promises said not to be honoured and long waits for rakeback; rakeback said to be forfeited when a short self-exclusion was requested; a card deposit not credited for several days and refunded only by the player's bank; and an offerwall reward refused on the stated ground of VPN use that the reviewer says the operator's own support had not detected.

AskGamblers lists 10 complaints with an average response time of three days alongside a player rating of 7.8 out of 10 from 23 reviews. Complaints published there describe a withdrawal of $11,203 (about £8,600) left in processing after a winning session, with automated KYC level 2 failing and a manual review the player says did not conclude; verification stuck for five days through the operator's identity provider with a balance of $934 (about £720) held; an account suspended and then permanently closed after a KYC request, with a balance of about $18,000 (about £13,900) zeroed and roughly $15,000 (about £11,600) of the player's own deposits said not to have been returned; and a withdrawal of $253,290 (about £195,000) in ETH held in processing while more than thirty documents, including certified incorporation records, share registers and personal identity documents, were supplied. Latest Casino Bonuses shows a member rating of 2.5 out of 5 from seven votes and lists among the disadvantages the operator's right to suspend or close an account at any time without prior notice or liability. All of these are attributed player reports, not findings by any regulator.

A complaint about Duelbits should go to Duelbits itself first, in writing, through the complaints channel it publishes or its support address where it publishes none, with every reply kept. If Duelbits does not resolve it, escalation points at Curacao Gaming Authority (CGA), and in practice the pressure comes from the evidence your own records support. What the licence requires

Duelbits is regulated by Curacao Gaming Authority (CGA) under licence OGL/2024/1507/0838, and no UK Gambling Commission licence is recorded for it, so GamStop and the UK dispute-resolution framework do not apply. Read more on how Curaçao casino law works.

Since the National Ordinance on Games of Chance (the LOK) came into force on 24 December 2024, Curaçao licences are issued directly by the Curaçao Gaming Authority, which requires licensees to verify player identity, operate responsible-gaming measures and publish a complaints procedure. What it lacks is the UK layer: no GamStop participation, no Gambling Commission oversight and no UK dispute-resolution requirement. That gap changes where the pressure points are; it does not remove them.

The Curaçao Gaming Authority accepts player complaints against its licensees. Quote the licence number on file, and run the operator's own published complaints procedure first.

If the amount is large

A five or six figure balance at Duelbits meets three clauses at once. Clause 6.1 lets the operator require source of wealth and source of funds documentation from high volume players at any time, and clause 6.2 lets it open enhanced verification at any threshold it chooses, so a source of funds request after a large win falls within the discretion those clauses give. What can be tested is whether it was raised only after the win, whether the documents demanded were proportionate, and whether the account was then closed with the balance held. Complaints published on AskGamblers describe a withdrawal of $253,290 (about £195,000) in ETH left in processing while more than thirty documents, including incorporation records and share registers, were supplied. Clause 11.2 then decides what a dispute is worth: on a wager dispute liability is limited to the return of the stake, on an account dispute to deposits minus withdrawals at the time of the incident, and otherwise to the total deposited in the preceding six months, so a £50,000 / $65,000 balance built from winnings is not the same figure as the recoverable one. No withdrawal ceiling is published, and a VIP host who stops replying after the payout request should be documented rather than chased. Clause 13.2 gives one year to bring a claim and clause 13.1 waives class actions, while nothing in the terms forbids assigning a claim to a third party. Where you are playing from

Four steps, in order, and they are the same wherever in the world you were playing from, because they attach to the Duelbits Curaçao licence. Complain in writing to Duelbits within six months of the incident (LOK Article 5.3: free, acknowledged within a week, answered by Duelbits within four weeks, extendable once by four weeks). Escalate to alternative dispute resolution, which the LOK requires a licensee to offer at its own expense and which the Authority requires to be run by a provider holding its certification, and which the Authority expects to run no longer than 90 days from the referral; a licensee that has engaged no certified provider is in breach of that requirement rather than exempt from it. Send a copy of the complaint to complaints@cga.cw, knowing the Curaçao Gaming Authority cannot mediate or order compensation but does use complaints to supervise licensees such as Duelbits. Then the Curaçao courts, which Article 5.5 requires a licensee to nominate in its gaming agreement and where a player’s claim against a licensee such as Duelbits is enforceable.

If you are in the United States

The United States is on the clause 3.2 prohibited list and on the separate list published on the AML and KYC page, and clause 3.3 allows an account reached through a VPN from a prohibited jurisdiction to be frozen and the winnings from that access confiscated. No United States regulator or court item naming Duelbits, Liquid Entertainment N.V. or Elevated Entertainment Ltd was located, so the route runs through the operator's own procedure and then the Curacao licence, and that is the duelbits.com route: a player redirected to duelbits.io is contracting with Elevated Entertainment Ltd under Anjouan licence ALSI-112310013-FI5, whose terms put governing law and exclusive jurisdiction in Anjouan.

If you are in the EU

Sweden is the one European country with a decision on the record: on 20 August 2025 Spelinspektionen prohibited Liquid Entertainment N.V. from providing gambling in Sweden without the necessary licence, with immediate effect, in decision 25Si1471, in a supervisory case that concerned duelbits.com. Belgium, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal and Spain are on the duelbits.com clause 3.2 list while other member states are not, the AML and KYC page publishes a different list again, adding Serbia and Slovakia and dropping Belgium, Italy and Spain, and the duelbits.io banned regions clause names Austria and Croatia as well as France, the Netherlands and Spain, so an Austrian or Croatian player is banned on the site blocked visitors are redirected to. The Belgian Gaming Commission's blocked list carried no Duelbits row when it was read and no Dutch decision was located, which is not the same as a cleared search of those archives.

If you are in Canada or Australia

Australia is prohibited in both companies' terms, under clause 3.2 on duelbits.com and in the banned regions clause on duelbits.io, so clause 3.3 applies to an Australian account. ACMA's own site search returned nothing for Duelbits or for Liquid Entertainment N.V., so there is no blocking order or formal warning to cite. Canada is restricted in neither set of terms and casino.guru lists Interac e-Transfer among the deposit methods, so a Canadian player's route is the Curacao one described above.

If you are in the UK

The United Kingdom is named as prohibited in clause 3.2, on the AML and KYC page and in the duelbits.io banned regions clause. There is no UK Gambling Commission licence: a register search for Liquid Entertainment returned no result, and the only duelbits entry is the former duelbits.co.uk domain declared by TGP Europe Limited, whose Great Britain licences were surrendered on 15 May 2025. GamStop, IBAS and the Commission therefore play no part. That route applies to an account on duelbits.com: the operator's clause 12.1 procedure, then the Curacao Gaming Authority quoting licence OGL/2024/1507/0838, then the Curacao courts under clause 12.3. A visitor blocked from duelbits.com is redirected to duelbits.io, which is operated by Elevated Entertainment Ltd under Anjouan licence ALSI-112310013-FI5 and whose terms put governing law and exclusive jurisdiction in Anjouan, so check which domain your account and your deposits sit on: the Curacao route does not reach a duelbits.io account.
