Who operates Bitcasino

Bitcasino.io states on its licence page, in its sitewide footer, in clause 1.2 of its terms and in its help centre that the site is owned and operated by Moon Technologies B.V., a Curacao company with registration number 152185, at Schout Bij Nacht Doormanweg 40, P.O. Box 4745, Curacao, under licence number OGL/2023/111/0069. The footer names the Curacao Gaming Authority as the licensing authority and supervisor, and names a Cyprus company, mProcessing Solutions Ltd (HE 373261, Nicosia), as payment agent, so the entity that received a deposit may not be the entity on the licence. That is worth establishing before any dispute starts.

The claim matches the register. The certificate portal linked from the operator's own footer certifies that bitcasino.io is operated by Moon Technologies B.V., company number 152185, licensed by the Curacao Gaming Authority under OGL/2023/111/0069 in accordance with the National Ordinance on Games of Chance, with current status Active. A second certificate page for the same licence lists two approved domains, bitcasino.io and livecasino.io, so Livecasino.io sits on the same permission. The CGA online licence registry of 3 September 2026 carries the licence at row 583: Moon Technologies B.V., B2C, company registration 152185, expiry N/A, status Indefinite. Sportsbet.io, the group sportsbook linked from the Bitcasino footer, is not an approved domain on this certificate; the register carries a separate row for MBet Solutions N.V. under OGL/2023/110/0072.

Three discrepancies are recorded here as facts side by side, without reconciliation. First, the dates. The site says the licence was issued on 01.07.2024, the CGA certificate says the company has been licensed since 01/Jul/2024, and the CGA register of 3 September 2026 records the issued date as December 24, 2025. Second, the term. The help centre says the licence was issued for the duration of one year, while the register records the expiry as N/A and the status as Indefinite, and the certificate prints no expiry at all. Third, the regulator name. The licence page and footer name the Curacao Gaming Authority, and the licence page also names the Gaming Control Board as the original issuer, yet the operator's complaints procedure, its AML policy and terms clauses 24.3 and 25.2 still describe it as a Curacao eGaming licensee. Curacao eGaming was a master licence brand under the regime that preceded the 2023 reform, not the authority named on the certificate.

The brand's own start date is recorded two ways as well, and both are set out here as they stand. Casino.guru gives the year established as 2014. Trade reporting of February 2026 describes the Sportsbet and Bitcasino brands as launched in 2015 under the founder's former Coingaming venture. Neither the licence page nor the terms print a founding date.

The group, the announced consolidation and the reported sale

Bitcasino sits in the Yolo Group, whose founder is Tim Heath. Trade reporting of February 2026 records that the brands were launched in 2015 under his former Coingaming venture, later rebranded as Yolo Entertainment, and headquartered in Estonia. The operator's own complaint template is still served from a coingaming.io address, which is consistent with the former group name.

On 23 September 2025 the founder published a post stating that the group's future strategy centres on a single, unified and Tier 1 licensed brand, Yolo.com, and that domestic regulators offering licences are not keen on other group operations continuing in pre-regulated markets. The same post thanks everyone who has been part of Sportsbet.io and Bitcasino.io, and names Canada, Sweden and Finland as expansion targets. Trade coverage read the announcement two ways: InterGame headlined it as the group shutting down the Sportsbet and Bitcasino brands, while iGaming Business reported a plan to incorporate them into the single Yolo.com brand.

In February 2026 both iGaming Business and Focus Gaming News reported, from an article in The Australian that sits behind a paywall and was not opened for this file, that Betsson was interested in buying the crypto casino brands at a price put at less than EUR 50 million (about $59 million, roughly £43 million), that the founder was in the late stages of a sale, and that the group had cut nearly 300 positions in Estonia and rehired some staff to keep operations running during negotiations. Betsson declined to comment on the report. None of that has changed the record: no completed sale and no change of licensee has been located, the CGA register of 3 September 2026 still names Moon Technologies B.V., and the site was still serving its help centre and terms pages on 4 September 2026. Treat the brand as trading, and keep the announcement in mind only as a reason to file a complaint promptly rather than to wait.

Withdrawal delayed or refused

A Bitcasino withdrawal pending for days meets the verification steps written into the terms before it reaches any payment timetable. Clause 6.1 requires your registered email address to be verified before you can withdraw at all, gives crypto deposits at least three blockchain confirmations first, and says fiat payouts "may take up to 3 working days from the moment they are approved". Nothing limits how long the approval step itself can take. Clause 6.5 lets the operator block or delay a payout until photographic identification, proof of address and card copies are supplied to its satisfaction, and clause 6.6 adds further KYC above EUR 2,500 (about £2,100 or $2,700) or the crypto equivalent. Clause 6.4 allows a 1x wagering requirement on your deposits before a cash out is accepted, clause 6.8 raises that to at least five times where the operator suspects the site is being used as a mixer, and clause 6.12 deducts an active reward and everything won with it. Complaints published on Trustpilot describe withdrawals refused after documents had already been supplied and a second KYC provider demanded; complaints published on casino.guru describe a delayed withdrawal of EUR 1,019 (about £860 or $1,100) and verification stuck on 8,000 USDT (about £6,300 or $8,000).

Account blocked or frozen

Bitcasino can restrict or close an account without giving a reason. Clause 9.2 reserves the right to refuse or close a member account "at its sole discretion, without prior notice or obligation to state or justify the reason", and says that where there is no suspicion of money laundering or unlawful conduct the balance is returned, crypto to a wallet of your choosing and fiat by the deposit route. Clause 3.13 allows random account health checks with no trigger at all, during which deposits and payouts may be temporarily restricted. Clause 3.10 allows blocking or closure where the operator determines that you supplied false or misleading information, clause 5.5 allows identity to be re-verified throughout the life of the account, and clause 6.7 allows suspension and the withholding of funds on an anti money laundering basis, a source of funds request included. Clause 20.2 makes the operator the final decision-maker on whether its rules were broken. Complaints published on Trustpilot describe limitations applied without explanation, a second KYC check demanded after one had been completed, and accounts closed with a general reference to a breach of the terms. Winnings voided or confiscated

The confiscation power at Bitcasino sits in clause 20.1, which lists twelve grounds on which the operator may suspend or terminate an account, cancel outstanding bets and confiscate any or all funds at its absolute discretion. Those grounds run from suspected money laundering and collusion to automated tools, multiple accounts, an account used for the benefit of a third party, any breach of the terms, and conduct it considers detrimental to its business. Clause 3.3 confiscates winnings and rewards outright where a player is in a restricted jurisdiction, returning only the remaining balance subject to reasonable charges. Clause 7.6 confiscates all winnings and closes the account permanently on a double spend finding, and extends that to connected accounts. Clauses 8.1 and 8.3 let the operator cancel a reward, decline the cash out and levy an administration charge where it decides a reward was abused. Complaint titles published on casino.guru describe confiscated winnings at 8,073 USDT (about £6,400 or $8,100), 11,000 USDT (about £8,700 or $11,000) and 16,000 USDT (about £12,600 or $16,000), and an account closed with $22,172 (about £17,500) inside. A source of funds request is within what the licence allows; what can be tested is whether it was raised only after the win and whether the confiscation notice matches the clause it cites.

Site not responding or gone dark

Bitcasino has not gone dark. The site was still serving its help centre and terms pages on 4 September 2026, bitcasino.io remains an approved domain on the CGA certificate for OGL/2023/111/0069, and the register of 3 September 2026 still records Moon Technologies B.V. as the licensee. What players describe is silence rather than absence. Complaints published on Trustpilot describe chats closed by the agent, long response times, and a security team that did not answer email; one long review of May 2026 by a self-described VIP player says a confidentiality complaint was answered only with a statement that the matter was being investigated. A VIP host going quiet with a withdrawal pending is the pattern to document. Two group facts belong here without being read as a closure: the owner announced in September 2025 that Bitcasino.io would be folded into a single regulated brand, and trade press of February 2026 reported sale talks, secondhand from a paywalled report. Neither has changed the licensee on the register. Clause 24.2 gives you six months from the event to complain, on the operator's own template, and clause 11.12 makes its transaction logs final on a disputed bet, so your own dated record is the counterweight.

The review records 43 complaints in total, broken down on the page as 2 opened, 3 unresolved, 8 resolved and 30 rejected, plus 1 counted from other sources, and states that the casino has a high value of denied payouts in player complaints relative to its size. The site's own footer prices 1 USDT at 1 USD, which is the basis for the figures that follow. Its complaint titles describe confiscated winnings at 8,073 USDT (about $8,100 or £6,400), $9,400 (about £7,400), 11,000 USDT (about $11,000 or £8,700) and 16,000 USDT (about $16,000 or £12,600), an account closed with $22,172 (about £17,500) inside, a delayed withdrawal of EUR 1,019 (about $1,100 or £860) and identity verification delayed on 8,000 USDT (about $8,000 or £6,300). One published review on the same page describes a dispute over how cashback was calculated and says rewards were suspended after the player said they would take the matter to the Curacao regulator. The same review page rates the terms Fair with no issues found, records no blacklist mentions, and puts the withdrawal limit at Unlimited with no win limit.

On Trustpilot the business is rated Poor at 2.3 out of 5. The review count and the star distribution were not captured in the page read, so no count is asserted here. Complaints published on Trustpilot describe withdrawals refused or blocked after identity documents had already been supplied, a second verification provider demanded after one check had been completed, account limitations applied without explanation, support directing the player to a security team that then did not reply, balances withheld and accounts closed with a general reference to a breach of the terms, a reward made unusable before the account was closed, chats closed by the agent, and long response times. One long review of May 2026 by a self-described VIP player describes a confidentiality complaint answered only with a statement that the matter was being investigated, and an affiliate describes a payment held under a rule numbered 7.6. Positive reviews on the same page describe fast crypto cashouts, a live return to player display and a completed no deposit bonus withdrawal. These are published player reports and the operator's answers to them, not findings by any regulator.

What the licence requires

Bitcasino is regulated by Curacao Gaming Authority (CGA) under licence OGL/2023/111/0069, and no UK Gambling Commission licence is recorded for it, so GamStop and the UK dispute-resolution framework do not apply. Read more on how Curaçao casino law works.

Since the National Ordinance on Games of Chance (the LOK) came into force on 24 December 2024, Curaçao licences are issued directly by the Curaçao Gaming Authority, which requires licensees to verify player identity, operate responsible-gaming measures and publish a complaints procedure. What it lacks is the UK layer: no GamStop participation, no Gambling Commission oversight and no UK dispute-resolution requirement. That gap changes where the pressure points are; it does not remove them.

If the amount is large

A five or six figure balance at Bitcasino meets four clauses at once. Clause 6.6 triggers additional KYC on any withdrawal above EUR 2,500 (about £2,100 or $2,700) or the crypto equivalent, and states that it does so as required by the gaming licence, so an enhanced check on a large payout is within what the Curacao regime allows. Clause 6.7 adds enhanced due diligence on withdrawals of funds not used for wagering, and the AML policy says that where the source of funds cannot be established and the relationship is ended, retained funds are held in a seized funds account and declared in a suspicious activity report. Clause 6.10 caps the pace rather than the amount: on a large withdrawal request the operator may elect to pay no more than 1 million USDT a week, roughly $1,000,000 or £790,000, until the full sum is settled. Casino.guru records the withdrawal limit as Unlimited and no win limit; clause 6.10 is the operator's own weekly ceiling. Both stand side by side. Clause 3.8 deducts 5 per cent a month from a positive balance left inactive for 12 months, so a frozen balance does not stand still. A VIP host who stops replying after the payout request should be documented rather than chased, and clause 17.1 bars assigning your claim to anyone else, so the route runs in your own name. Where you are playing from

Your country changes the domestic angles below; it does not change the route, which sits with the Bitcasino Curaçao licence. First, a complaint to Bitcasino within six months of the incident under LOK Article 5.3: acknowledgement within a week, a Bitcasino ruling within four weeks, one written four-week extension at most. Second, alternative dispute resolution, which the LOK obliges a licensee to offer and to pay for, which the Curaçao Gaming Authority requires to be run by a provider it has certified, and which it expects to complete within 90 days of the referral; a licensee with no certified provider engaged has missed that duty rather than escaped it. Third, the Authority itself at complaints@cga.cw, which does not handle individual Bitcasino disputes or order compensation but may act against the Bitcasino licence where complaints point to a breach. Last, the Curaçao courts, which Article 5.5 requires a licensee to name in its gaming agreement alongside Curaçao law, with Article 15.3 removing the old bar on enforcing a player’s claim against Bitcasino.

If you are in the United States

The United States is on Bitcasino's own restricted jurisdictions list. Clause 3.2 says the operator will not accept a registration from a person in a restricted jurisdiction and clause 3.3 says winnings and rewards will be confiscated where a player is found to be in one, so a US-based account is exposed to that clause before any other argument is reached. No US regulator or court record was reviewed for this page, so the route runs through the operator's own complaints procedure and the Curacao licence.

If you are in the EU

Belgium blocked this domain: the Gaming Commission lists bitcasino.io at entry 214, on a Commission decision of 17 March 2021 published in the Belgian Official Gazette on 26 March 2021, with the sister brand sportsbet.io at entry 213 on the same date. Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Malta, the Netherlands and Spain are on the operator's own restricted list, while most other member states are not. No Dutch, Swedish or Spanish decision naming Bitcasino or Moon Technologies B.V. was found on the pages read, which is not the same as a cleared search of those archives.

If you are in Canada or Australia

Australia is on the operator's own restricted list, so clause 3.3 bites there, but bitcasino.io is not on the ACMA blocked gambling websites list and no ACMA investigation names it, livecasino.io, sportsbet.io or Moon Technologies B.V.; the only similar entries are 7bitcasino.com and its mirrors, a different brand and a different operator. Canada is not restricted at all and no Canadian regulator item was located, so a Canadian player's route is the Curacao one described above. Japan is a separate case again. Japan is not on the published restricted jurisdictions list, but the Definitions section of the terms states that to play from Japan is prohibited, and casino.guru records Japanese as a supported website and support language, so the site can be played in Japanese while the terms prohibit playing from there. Clause 3.3 confiscates winnings and rewards where a player is in a restricted jurisdiction and returns only the remaining balance, subject to reasonable charges. No Japanese regulator or court record was reviewed for this page, so the route there is the operator's own complaints procedure and the Curacao licence.

If you are in the UK

The United Kingdom is on Bitcasino's restricted jurisdictions list, and clause 3.3 confiscates winnings and rewards where a player is in a restricted jurisdiction. There is no UK Gambling Commission licence, so GamStop, IBAS and the Commission play no part. The route is the operator's own procedure under clause 24.2 within six months of the event, then a CGA certified alternative dispute resolution provider once one is appointed, then the Curacao courts under clause 23.3.
