Here is what the site itself says, quoted and dated: clause 3 of the terms and conditions, read 7 September 2026, states "The Website is owned and operated by Techno Wave Systems S.R.L., a company registered and established under the laws of Costa Rica. Techno Wave Systems S.R.L. is regulated by the Government of Costa Rica with its registration number 3-102-961721 and registered address at 106, Lagunilla, Ulloa, Heredia, Costa Rica". Neither an ALSI number nor any Anjouan entity is named in that clause, anywhere else in the terms, or in the visible footer of the home page. The one Anjouan-linked element found on the site is a seal validator script the home page loads from anjouangaming.org; nothing in the page's own visible text ties a licence claim to it.

Here is what the register showed, also dated: on 7 September 2026 the register listed the bets.io domain in a single row, but under a different company: TESSERA LIMITED SRL, licence ALSI-202410047-FI2, status valid, type b2c, issued 18 October 2024, expiry 17 October 2026. Six other domains sit on that same row alongside bets.io: betsio.com, 50crowns.com, 1red.com, spinch.com, lokicasino.com and onluck.com, which suggests TESSERA LIMITED SRL runs a family of sites of which bets.io is one. That row is held on the register but is not applied to this record: nothing on Bets.io's own domain names TESSERA LIMITED SRL or the licence number ALSI-202410047-FI2, so the link between the site's own statement and that register entry does not join up. Separately, a review page at askgamblers.com, outside Bets.io's own domain and read on 7 September 2026, names the operator as TESSERA LIMITED SRL under a regulator it calls the Anjouan Gaming Board; that claim is noted here as attributed and dated, and for the same reason it is not carried onto this record. No further conclusion follows from this: the register lists only current licences, so finding no row for the company the site names shows only that no current row exists, nothing more.

What the terms allow Bets.io to do

Complaints begin under clause 1 of COMPLAINTS RESOLUTION PROCEDURE: "You are free to contact our customer service team according to the instructions found on the Website to give us any complaints regarding our services." A following clause commits the operator to acknowledge a complaint "as soon as possible, but not later than within 24 hours of receiving such a complaint.", while another sets the outer deadline for resolving it: "any complaint must be dealt within a timeframe no later than within 8 (eight) weeks from the day of the receipt of complaint." Governing law appears under APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION: "Any legal claim or dispute arising under or in connection with the Terms or your use of the Website shall be settled in accordance with the Laws of Costa Rica." Account blocked or frozen

Bets.io can restrict or close an account on identity grounds. The ACCOUNT SUSPENSION AND CLOSURE section states: "Player must provide the Company with all information that the Company may request in order to manage player’s account, verify player’s identity or the source of the funds deposited to player’s account. Player has to provide this information within 30 calendar days after the request is made." Missing that window lets the account be blocked from all transactions if those documents do not arrive in time. Clause 5.1 in the section on misuse gives the operator a separate power to deactivate or restrict an account at its own discretion once a verification request has gone unanswered for 30 days.
