Who operates Amunbet

Amunbet's own footer and its terms and conditions state no operating entity, no company registration number and no licence holder. The site brands itself only as Amunbet: the footer names an "About Amunbet" link and closes with a copyright notice reading "Copyright © 2026 Amunbet. All rights reserved." but nowhere gives a company name, address or licence number for whoever operates it, at either amunbet.com or the amunbet.co.uk domain associated with this brand. amunbet.co.uk returned HTTP 503 on 6 September 2026 and could not be read at all; amunbet.com was live (HTTP 200) and is the source for every claim on this page. The Curacao Gaming Authority's online licence register, 3 September 2026 edition, carries no row for Amunbet, amunbet.com or amunbet.co.uk, so no licence number, licensee or status can be attributed to the brand from that register.

Amunbet's own homepage contains a technical detail worth recording precisely rather than interpreting: buried in the page's embedded JavaScript configuration is a licence-type token reading CW, alongside a separate, unrelated reference to "MGA Games", the name of a slot game content studio that also supplies many unconnected operators. Neither string sits inside a licence statement, an entity name or any sentence a visitor would actually read; there is no linked certificate, no licensee named and no register cross-reference attached to either token. It is reported here only as an unexplained fragment of page code, read 6 September 2026, and not as a licence claim, a regulator claim or evidence of Curacao licensing.

What the terms allow Amunbet to do

The Terms and Conditions at amunbet.com/terms-and-conditions, dated "Last Updated: 21.08.2026" on the page itself, set out player-facing rules but name no operating entity anywhere in the document. Clause 8.1 permits one account per person, warning that "the creation of multiple accounts may result in account termination and forfeiture of funds"; clause 8.3 lets the Company "restrict or terminate access without the possibility of appeal" if an IP overlap is detected between accounts. Clauses 8.4 and 9.1 give the Company broad verification powers: players "must provide verification documents upon request, which may include identification, proof of residence, or financial statements," and the Company "may verify player identity before processing withdrawals"; clause 8.5 allows account closure and fund forfeiture if that documentation is not judged accurate or verifiable. Clause 9.7 requires deposits to be wagered at least three times before a withdrawal can be made. Clause 11.1 sets a minimum withdrawal of 20 EUR (roughly £17/$22); clause 11.4 sets standard withdrawal limits of 3,000 EUR (roughly £2,550/$3,300) per week and 15,000 EUR (roughly £12,750/$16,500) per month, with "higher limits" said to apply to unspecified "high-value depositors"; clause 11.5 pays progressive jackpot winnings in full regardless of those caps. Clause 12.1 classifies an account inactive for 90 days as dormant and reserves the Company's right to close it and "retain any remaining balance."

No clause in the document sets out a complaint window, a named complaints or dispute procedure, a governing law, or a maximum win limit on ordinary, non-jackpot play. A search of the full terms text for "governing law", "jurisdiction", "dispute", "complain" and "maximum win" found no such clauses.

Is Amunbet withholding a withdrawal?

The playbook for a stalled Amunbet payout is in what to do when a casino withholds your winnings. And if the amount at stake is large, a win Amunbet voided, a balance it confiscated or a payout it keeps deferring, our withheld winnings service explains which records to preserve and when a Amunbet file justifies specialist assessment.

What the record shows

Our research found no substantiated public regulatory or court action against Amunbet. This file reflects licence and status records only, and is not a suggestion of wrongdoing.

Is Amunbet legit?

The honest answer to "is it legit" has parts. Amunbet claims a Curaçao licence that could not be validated against the register. Nothing substantiated from a regulator or court sits on the Amunbet file. With no UK Gambling Commission licence recorded for it, GamStop does not cover it and no UK adjudicator can hear a dispute about it, which counts for more than any star rating once money is stuck. Holding a licence is no assurance that players are treated fairly. A Curaçao licence number can be checked against the CGA's official register using our free licence checker.

Complaints about Amunbet

Two attempts were made to read independent complaint or review data for Amunbet on 7 September 2026. AskGamblers returned HTTP 404 at the review URL checked, meaning no listing exists there for this brand under this name; casino.guru returned HTTP 403, meaning the page was blocked. Neither source could be read, so no attributed player complaint, theme or figure can be reported for Amunbet in this profile.

A complaint about Amunbet should go to Amunbet itself first, in writing, through the complaints channel it publishes or its support address where it publishes none, with every reply kept. If Amunbet does not resolve it, escalation points at Curacao Gaming Authority (CGA), and in practice the pressure comes from the evidence your own records support. The sequence is set out in how to escalate a casino complaint.

What the licence requires

Amunbet's licence position could not be validated against the register, and no UK Gambling Commission licence is recorded for it, so GamStop and the UK dispute-resolution framework do not apply. Read more on how Curaçao casino law works.

If you are trying to recover money

Because no licence this file could confirm now stands behind Amunbet, there is no adjudicator anywhere that can order a refund, so recovery runs as a claim built on the Amunbet terms as they stood when you played and on the evidence your own records support, taken forward with a regulated legal partner where they support it. Preserve your account evidence first, then see how gambling-loss recovery works, the evidence you need to recover losses, and how to escalate a casino complaint.

Search the Curaçao enforcement register for Amunbet first, because a published action against the licence is a fact your complaint can cite.

Two guides carry the detail for a Curaçao brand like Amunbet. Getting your money back from a Curaçao casino sets out the complaint order and what the regulator can realistically do about Amunbet. Where you had self-excluded with Amunbet and it kept taking deposits, read what a failed self-exclusion is worth. The free complaint route finder maps the order for you.

If the amount is large

A five or six figure balance at Amunbet is handled differently from a small one, and the Curaçao rules explain why. Under the Gaming Authority’s anti-money-laundering regulations of January 2025, Amunbet must carry out customer due diligence once your financial transactions reach NAf 4,000, roughly £1,700 / $2,200, counted cumulatively across every deposit and withdrawal since you opened the Amunbet account rather than transaction by transaction. Where that threshold is crossed because you asked to withdraw, the regulations require Amunbet to freeze the account completely until your documents reach Amunbet. They also set a limit the other way: if Amunbet has not received the information within 30 days of the threshold being reached, it must end the Amunbet relationship, and where no presumption of money laundering exists the funds are to be transferred to you. Higher-risk Amunbet accounts attract enhanced due diligence, which is where the Amunbet requests for source of funds and source of wealth come from, covering savings, employment income, property sales, dividends, inheritances and earlier gambling winnings. The Amunbet commercial treatment usually shifts alongside the compliance one: the Amunbet host who answered within minutes goes quiet, and Amunbet withdrawal limits that never mattered on a £500 / $650 payout start to govern a £50,000 / $65,000 one. Where the Amunbet account is frozen, the escalation route is set out under Where you are playing from.

Where you are playing from

The route against Amunbet is set by Curaçao law, not by where you live. Start with a written complaint to Amunbet: the LOK gives you six months from the incident, costs nothing, and obliges Amunbet to acknowledge within a week and answer within four weeks, with one four-week extension allowed to Amunbet. Unresolved, the LOK requires a licensee to offer alternative dispute resolution at its own expense and the Authority requires that body to be a CGA-certified one, on a timetable it expects to run no longer than 90 days; a licensee that has not engaged a certified provider is short of that requirement rather than outside it. Copy complaints@cga.cw: the Curaçao Gaming Authority will not decide your Amunbet case or award compensation, but it uses complaints to police the Amunbet licence. The final step against Amunbet is the Curaçao court, because Article 5.5 obliges a licensee to write Curaçao law and the Curaçao courts into the gaming agreement, and the old civil-code bar on gambling claims no longer applies to claims against a licensee.

The Amunbet licence could not be validated against the Curacao Gaming Authority (CGA) register, so treat the licence route as conditional on that licence existing; the domestic angles below stand either way.

If you are in the United States

No state regulator can take up a Amunbet dispute, because Amunbet holds no state licence and online gambling in the United States is regulated state by state, which leaves the Amunbet account outside every state system. The August 2025 letter from 50 state attorneys general asked the Department of Justice to pursue injunctions, seize domains and work with payment processors against offshore sites such as Amunbet; useful pressure, but not a refund route for a Amunbet player. Log the Amunbet dispute with your state attorney general or consumer protection office, then pursue the Curaçao route above against Amunbet.

If you are in the EU

Whether an EU player has a domestic claim against Amunbet depends on the country. In Austria the position on an operator like Amunbet is settled: the OGH in 1 Ob 229/20p held that a provider without an Austrian concession acts unlawfully, its contracts are ineffective and the player is entitled to repayment of the stake, so an Austrian Amunbet player has a recognised route. In Germany the Court of Justice of the EU (Case C-440/23, 16 April 2026) confirmed that EU law does not prevent a restitution claim for stakes lost with Amunbet on games prohibited in the player’s home state, though that ruling concerned Malta-licensed operators rather than Amunbet and the BGH’s lead decision (I ZR 216/25, hearing 17 September 2026) is pending, so a German Amunbet claim is not yet settled law. The Dutch Supreme Court ruled on 3 July 2026 that contracts with an unlicensed operator such as Amunbet are not automatically void, so a Dutch Amunbet player has no automatic refund, only a possible claim against Amunbet for mistake or in tort. For every other EU country the sourced route against Amunbet is the Curaçao route above, the one attached to the Amunbet licence.

If you are in Canada or Australia

Neither country offers a refund route against Amunbet. Canada: Ontario is the only province with a regulated private market, and its regulator and conduct body, the AGCO and iGaming Ontario, both say they cannot refund wagers or award compensation and deal only with Ontario-registered sites, not with Amunbet; the other provinces run monopolies and we have found no domestic route against Amunbet. Australia: the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 makes online casinos illegal to offer, ACMA takes complaints about breaches, and ACMA itself says Australian regulators cannot help if the provider withholds your Amunbet winnings and points you to the licensing authority abroad. Against Amunbet that is the Curaçao route above.

If you are in the UK

Being in the UK adds no route against Amunbet, because Amunbet holds no Gambling Commission licence and the Commission’s protections travel with the licence, not the player. GAMSTOP covers only operators licensed in Great Britain, so it did not block Amunbet. The ADR duty binds Commission licensees only, which Amunbet is not, and IBAS adjudicates only disputes with operators registered with it, a registration this file does not record for Amunbet. The Commission has no powers to resolve individual gambling complaints or help consumers get their money back from Amunbet, and instead asks for unlicensed sites to be reported to intelligencereports@gamblingcommission.gov.uk. The route open to you against Amunbet is the Curaçao route above, the one attached to the Amunbet licence.

  1. amunbet.com: Homepage and footer read 6 September 2026: the brand is named Amunbet throughout (footer navigation, 'About Amunbet' link, copyright line 'Copyright © 2026 Amunbet. All rights reserved.'); no operating entity name, company registration number, licence number or regulator is named anywhere on the homepage or in the footer. The page's embedded JavaScript configuration contains an unexplained licence-type token in the page code reading CW, and a separate reference to "MGA Games" (a slot game studio brand also supplied to many unrelated operators); neither is attached to an entity name, a licence number or any licence statement, so neither is treated as a licence claim or a regulator claim here
  2. amunbet.com: Terms and Conditions read 6 September 2026, page dated 'Last Updated: 21.08.2026': across all 12 numbered clauses, no operating entity, company registration number, licence number or regulator is named. Clause 3.1 lists Restricted Countries (USA, Israel, British Virgin Islands and others, full list in acceptsUkNote) with no mention of the United Kingdom. Clause 11.1 sets a minimum withdrawal of 20 EUR; clause 11.4 sets standard withdrawal limits of 3,000 EUR per week and 15,000 EUR per month; clause 12.1 classifies accounts inactive for 90 days as dormant, with the Company reserving the right to close the account and retain any remaining balance; no complaint window, dispute route or governing law clause is stated anywhere in the document

FAQ

Common questions about Amunbet

Can I get my money back from Amunbet?

Possibly. No licence this file could confirm now stands behind Amunbet, so there is no regulator or adjudicator anywhere that can order a refund. Recovery instead works through the Amunbet terms as they stood when you played, the evidence your payment history supports, and where appropriate a regulated legal partner. The right route depends on your evidence, and our initial assessment is free and confidential.

Not confirmed: Amunbet's own footer and terms and conditions name no operating entity, no company registration number and no licence holder. Amunbet's licence position could not be validated against the register check recorded on this file. It is recorded as listed under Curacao Gaming Authority (CGA). This licence sits outside GamStop, so a GamStop self-exclusion does not block accounts held under it.

Amunbet accepts UK players. Clause 3.1 (Eligibility to Play) of the operator's own terms and conditions lists Restricted Countries as USA, Israel, British Virgin Islands, Antilles, Afghanistan, Barbados, Cambodia, China, Cyprus, Gibraltar, Jordan, Haiti, Mali, Mozambique, Nigeria, Panama, Hong Kong, Iran, Iraq, Myanmar, Lithuania, North Korea, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Sudan, Syria, Taiwan, Thailand, Uganda, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates and Yemen; the United Kingdom is not on that list. No licence of any kind is named on the site, so there is no GamStop coverage and no UK dispute route regardless. The licence in force when you played is what shapes the routes open to you.

Our research found no substantiated public regulator or court action against Amunbet. This file reflects licence and status records only, and is not a suggestion of wrongdoing.

Preserve the evidence first: screenshot your balance, the stuck withdrawal, chat transcripts and emails, and save the terms as they read today. Then make one formal written complaint and escalate to the right authority or a regulated legal partner. Avoid closing the account or accepting a partial settlement before you have taken advice.

No. Nothing is sent to any operator without your written consent. The first an operator hears of your case is a formal complaint you have approved.

Is Amunbet holding your money?

The sooner the evidence is preserved, the stronger the file. Our initial assessment is free and strictly confidential.
