BitStarz
Licence status, GamStop coverage and any publicly documented issues for BitStarz, with sources. A listing is a record, not an allegation of wrongdoing.
What the record shows
Our research found no substantiated public regulatory or court action against BitStarz. This file reflects licence and status records only, and is not a suggestion of wrongdoing.
What the licence requires
Since the National Ordinance on Games of Chance (the LOK) came into force on 24 December 2024, Curaçao licences are issued directly by the Curaçao Gaming Authority, which requires licensees to verify player identity, operate responsible-gaming measures and publish a complaints procedure. What it lacks is the UK layer: no GamStop participation, no Gambling Commission oversight and no UK dispute-resolution requirement. That gap changes where the pressure points are; it does not remove them.
If you are trying to recover money
- 01
Preserve the evidence
Screenshot your balance, any stuck withdrawal, chat transcripts and emails, and save the terms and conditions as they read today, before they change.
- 02
Make one formal complaint in writing
A single, factual email to the operator's complaints address with a clear deadline. Keep emotion out of it; this document will be read by third parties later.
- 03
Escalate to the right authority
The Curaçao Gaming Authority accepts player complaints against its licensees. Quote the licence number on file, and run the operator's own published complaints procedure first.
- 04
Check your payment route
Card deposits may still be inside chargeback windows, which run from the transaction date. E-wallet, bank and crypto deposits each need a different approach.

Common questions about BitStarz
Can I get my money back from BitStarz?
+Possibly — it depends on the route your evidence supports: a formal complaint to the operator, a card or e-wallet payment dispute, or escalation to the regulator or a regulated legal partner. Our initial assessment is free, confidential and tells you honestly where you stand.
Is BitStarz licensed, and is it covered by GamStop?
+BitStarz is recorded as licensed under Curacao Gaming Authority (CGA). It sits outside GamStop, so a GamStop self-exclusion does not block it.
What should I do if BitStarz will not pay out or has frozen my account?
+Preserve the evidence first: screenshot your balance, the stuck withdrawal, chat transcripts and emails, and save the terms as they read today. Then make one formal written complaint and escalate to the right authority or a regulated legal partner. Avoid closing the account or accepting a partial settlement before you have taken advice.
Will BitStarz know I contacted Clinton & Co?
+No. Nothing is sent to any operator without your written consent. The first an operator hears of your case is a formal complaint you have approved.
Is BitStarz holding your money?
The sooner the evidence is preserved, the stronger the file. Our initial assessment is free and strictly confidential.
