Who operates America's Cardroom

America's Cardroom's own footer, read 6 September 2026 at americascardroom.eu, names no operating company, no company number and no registered address: it lists only a Need Help section (FAQ, Contact Us), an Affiliate Program line, a Safer Gambling paragraph, a Secure Banking line and a copyright notice reading 'Copyright © 2026 | AmericasCardroom.eu | T&Cs | All Rights Reserved'. The link the site itself presents as its T&Cs, read the same day, does not lead to a terms and conditions document at all: it serves a poker-terms glossary explaining hand and betting vocabulary such as pocket Aces and blinds, with no licence statement, no entity name and no regulator named anywhere on the page. A banner on that same glossary page describes the brand as established 'Since 2001', which is the only date claim found on the site; it is not a licence grant date and is not tied to any named company.

The Curaçao Gaming Authority's online licence register, 3 September 2026 edition, was searched for America's Cardroom, AmericasCardroom.eu, cardroom, Winning Poker Network and Blue Star, and returned no matching row, because the site names no entity for a row to match against in the first place. Clinton & Co could not validate a licence for America's Cardroom against the Curaçao Gaming Authority register on 6 September 2026. Attempts to read independent operator listings for further entity detail also failed: AskGamblers returned HTTP 404 (page not found) and casino.guru returned HTTP 403 (forbidden), both on 7 September 2026, so neither could be used to confirm or add anything.

What could be read of the terms

The link America's Cardroom presents on its own site as its Terms and Conditions (https://www.americascardroom.eu/how-to/poker-terms/) does not serve a terms and conditions document. Read on 6 September 2026, the page returned a poker-terms glossary: a list of definitions for hands and betting vocabulary, including entries on starting hands, betting limits and blinds, with no clauses covering withdrawal conditions, KYC or source-of-funds checks, a complaint window or route, governing law, dormant-account fees, or a maximum win limit. None of those clauses could be read because the page they would appear on does not exist at that link; the site's own home page footer links to the same '/T&Cs' reference without providing a separate, working terms page at the time of the read. No other terms document was located on the domain during this check.

Is America's Cardroom withholding a withdrawal?

The playbook for a stalled America's Cardroom payout is in what to do when a casino withholds your winnings. Where the sum is substantial, a voided win, a confiscated balance or a withdrawal America's Cardroom will not release, our withheld winnings service sets out the evidence that matters and when a specialist assessment of a America's Cardroom case is proportionate.

What the record shows

Our research found no substantiated public regulatory or court action against America's Cardroom. This file reflects licence and status records only, and is not a suggestion of wrongdoing.

Is America's Cardroom legit?

"Legit" needs unpacking. America's Cardroom claims a Curaçao licence that could not be validated against the register. Our research found no substantiated regulator or court action against America's Cardroom. No UK Gambling Commission licence is recorded for it, so GamStop and the UK dispute framework do not apply, which matters more than any review score if something goes wrong. A licence is not a promise that players are treated fairly. You can verify a Curaçao licence yourself against the CGA's official register with our free licence checker.

Complaints about America's Cardroom

No attributed complaint themes are recorded for America's Cardroom in this file. The two third-party pages checked for player reports could not be read: AskGamblers returned HTTP 404 (page not found) on 7 September 2026, and casino.guru returned HTTP 403 (forbidden) on 7 September 2026. No conclusion is drawn from the absence of a reading; it is recorded here only as what was and was not checked.

A complaint about America's Cardroom should go to America's Cardroom itself first, in writing, through the complaints channel it publishes or its support address where it publishes none, with every reply kept. If America's Cardroom does not resolve it, escalation points at Curacao Gaming Authority (CGA), and in practice the pressure comes from the evidence your own records support. The sequence is set out in how to escalate a casino complaint.

What the licence requires

America's Cardroom's licence position could not be validated against the register, and no UK Gambling Commission licence is recorded for it, so GamStop and the UK dispute-resolution framework do not apply. Read more on how Curaçao casino law works.

If you are trying to recover money

Because no licence this file could confirm now stands behind America's Cardroom, there is no adjudicator anywhere that can order a refund, so recovery runs as a claim built on the America's Cardroom terms as they stood when you played and on the evidence your own records support, taken forward with a regulated legal partner where they support it. Preserve your account evidence first, then see how gambling-loss recovery works, the evidence you need to recover losses, and how to escalate a casino complaint.

Check whether America's Cardroom appears on the Curaçao enforcement register before you write.

Two guides carry the detail for a Curaçao brand like America's Cardroom. Getting your money back from a Curaçao casino sets out the complaint order and what the regulator can realistically do about America's Cardroom. Where you had self-excluded with America's Cardroom and it kept taking deposits, read what a failed self-exclusion is worth. The free complaint route finder maps the order for you.

If the amount is large

Two things tend to happen at once when a America's Cardroom balance gets large. The America's Cardroom account goes quiet on the commercial side, with a America's Cardroom host who replied in minutes now slow or silent, and America's Cardroom withdrawal caps that were irrelevant on a £500 / $650 payout suddenly shaping how long a £50,000 / $65,000 balance takes to leave. On the compliance side the Curaçao anti-money-laundering regulations of January 2025 that bind America's Cardroom come into play: America's Cardroom must carry out customer due diligence once your transactions reach NAf 4,000, roughly £1,700 / $2,200, calculated daily across every deposit and withdrawal since the America's Cardroom account was opened. Where the threshold is reached because you want to withdraw, those regulations call for America's Cardroom to freeze the account completely. Where America's Cardroom judges the risk higher, enhanced due diligence follows, which is why America's Cardroom asks for source of funds or source of wealth: savings, employment, a property sale, dividends, an inheritance, earlier gambling winnings. There is a backstop that binds America's Cardroom. If the documents have not reached America's Cardroom within 30 days of the threshold being reached, it must terminate the relationship, and absent a money-laundering presumption the funds are to be transferred to you. What to do while the America's Cardroom clock runs is under Where you are playing from.

Where you are playing from

The route against America's Cardroom is set by Curaçao law, not by where you live. Start with a written complaint to America's Cardroom: the LOK gives you six months from the incident, costs nothing, and obliges America's Cardroom to acknowledge within a week and answer within four weeks, with one four-week extension allowed to America's Cardroom. Unresolved, the LOK requires a licensee to offer alternative dispute resolution at its own expense and the Authority requires that body to be a CGA-certified one, on a timetable it expects to run no longer than 90 days; a licensee that has not engaged a certified provider is short of that requirement rather than outside it. Copy complaints@cga.cw: the Curaçao Gaming Authority will not decide your America's Cardroom case or award compensation, but it uses complaints to police the America's Cardroom licence. The final step against America's Cardroom is the Curaçao court, because Article 5.5 obliges a licensee to write Curaçao law and the Curaçao courts into the gaming agreement, and the old civil-code bar on gambling claims no longer applies to claims against a licensee.

The America's Cardroom licence could not be validated against the Curacao Gaming Authority (CGA) register, so treat the licence route as conditional on that licence existing; the domestic angles below stand either way.

If you are in the United States

No state regulator can take up a America's Cardroom dispute, because America's Cardroom holds no state licence and online gambling in the United States is regulated state by state, which leaves the America's Cardroom account outside every state system. The August 2025 letter from 50 state attorneys general asked the Department of Justice to pursue injunctions, seize domains and work with payment processors against offshore sites such as America's Cardroom; useful pressure, but not a refund route for a America's Cardroom player. Log the America's Cardroom dispute with your state attorney general or consumer protection office, then pursue the Curaçao route above against America's Cardroom.

If you are in the EU

Whether an EU player has a domestic claim against America's Cardroom depends on the country. In Austria the position on an operator like America's Cardroom is settled: the OGH in 1 Ob 229/20p held that a provider without an Austrian concession acts unlawfully, its contracts are ineffective and the player is entitled to repayment of the stake, so an Austrian America's Cardroom player has a recognised route. In Germany the Court of Justice of the EU (Case C-440/23, 16 April 2026) confirmed that EU law does not prevent a restitution claim for stakes lost with America's Cardroom on games prohibited in the player’s home state, though that ruling concerned Malta-licensed operators rather than America's Cardroom and the BGH’s lead decision (I ZR 216/25, hearing 17 September 2026) is pending, so a German America's Cardroom claim is not yet settled law. The Dutch Supreme Court ruled on 3 July 2026 that contracts with an unlicensed operator such as America's Cardroom are not automatically void, so a Dutch America's Cardroom player has no automatic refund, only a possible claim against America's Cardroom for mistake or in tort. For every other EU country the sourced route against America's Cardroom is the Curaçao route above, the one attached to the America's Cardroom licence.

If you are in Canada or Australia

Neither country offers a refund route against America's Cardroom. Canada: Ontario is the only province with a regulated private market, and its regulator and conduct body, the AGCO and iGaming Ontario, both say they cannot refund wagers or award compensation and deal only with Ontario-registered sites, not with America's Cardroom; the other provinces run monopolies and we have found no domestic route against America's Cardroom. Australia: the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 makes online casinos illegal to offer, ACMA takes complaints about breaches, and ACMA itself says Australian regulators cannot help if the provider withholds your America's Cardroom winnings and points you to the licensing authority abroad. Against America's Cardroom that is the Curaçao route above.

If you are in the UK

A UK player has no domestic adjudicator for a America's Cardroom dispute. The Gambling Commission says it is illegal to provide gambling to consumers in Great Britain without the operating licence America's Cardroom does not hold, wherever in the world the gambling is provided from, and America's Cardroom holds no such licence. So GAMSTOP, which covers only GB-licensed operators, never applied to America's Cardroom; the ADR requirement in the licence conditions, and IBAS, which adjudicates only against operators registered with it, do not reach America's Cardroom; and the Commission has no powers to resolve individual complaints or help consumers get money back from America's Cardroom, although it asks for unlicensed sites to be reported to intelligencereports@gamblingcommission.gov.uk. What reaches America's Cardroom is the Curaçao route above, the one attached to the America's Cardroom licence.

FAQ

Common questions about America's Cardroom

Can I get my money back from America's Cardroom?

Possibly. No licence this file could confirm now stands behind America's Cardroom, so there is no regulator or adjudicator anywhere that can order a refund. Recovery instead works through the America's Cardroom terms as they stood when you played, the evidence your payment history supports, and where appropriate a regulated legal partner. The right route depends on your evidence, and our initial assessment is free and confidential.

Not established: America's Cardroom's footer and terms do not name an operating entity, company number or registered address (footer read 6 September 2026; the site's own T&Cs link served a poker-terms glossary rather than a terms and conditions document, read 6 September 2026). America's Cardroom's licence position could not be validated against the register check recorded on this file. It is recorded as listed under Curacao Gaming Authority (CGA). The brand has operated since 2001. This licence sits outside GamStop, so a GamStop self-exclusion does not block accounts held under it.

America's Cardroom's position on UK players is not clear-cut. The page linked as the site's own T&Cs (https://www.americascardroom.eu/how-to/poker-terms/) is a poker-terms glossary, not a terms and conditions document, and could not be read for a restricted-territories clause (read 6 September 2026). Whichever applies, the licence in force when you played is what shapes the routes open to you.

Our research found no substantiated public regulator or court action against America's Cardroom. This file reflects licence and status records only, and is not a suggestion of wrongdoing.

Preserve the evidence first: screenshot your balance, the stuck withdrawal, chat transcripts and emails, and save the terms as they read today. Then make one formal written complaint and escalate to the right authority or a regulated legal partner. Avoid closing the account or accepting a partial settlement before you have taken advice.

No. Nothing is sent to any operator without your written consent. The first an operator hears of your case is a formal complaint you have approved.

Is America's Cardroom holding your money?
